It was a beautiful morning this morning. I love to hear the birds singing when I wake up. Thank God for a lovely day.
Last night we enjoyed a visit with some friends. We had gone out to a local church to help them with collating some Scripture portions. Then we stopped by a friend's house for a "minute" on the way home. Well, this "minute" lasted until after 9:30. We had a fun time though. It was nice to just sit and fellowship. Their little boy enjoyed playing thumb wrestle with me. Problem is he beat me more often than I beat him. It's pretty bad when a 36 year old can't beat a 6 year old at thumb wrestle. :-) But it was fun anyway.
Recently the Lord blessed in allowing me to cut down chiropractic visits to once a week. Praise the Lord! Now we are seriously considering going to see a Naturopathic doctor in a nearby town. Please pray for God's wisdom in this and that, if it is God's will, this visit will be profitable in helping us know what steps to take next to deal with our physical needs.
Christy is often picking on me for having the "forgetties" or for seeming to be in la la land. While we were at the chiropractor, Christy noticed Dr. Schulman's certificates for dealing with conditions that are the result of brain injury. So she asked him if he could deal with brain fog or brain dead.
He said that he could say with complete assurance and without hesitation and without having to run any sophisticated tests that I am not brain dead. :-) We do have fun when we go to the chiropractor. Thank God for providing a chiropractor who is careful and caring. And it is a plus to have one with a great sense of humor!
This morning it was fun to go out and work in the garden. The poor thing was in desperate need of some water. The past few days have been dry, and the humidity was quite low yesterday. After working in the garden a while, I took Christy's camera out and got a few pictures. Below are some of these. Enjoy!
