On Thursday, I spent an hour or so working outside, cleaning up things we took out of the shed. Then we packed up most everything inside. Friday we went back and Christy finished packing up yard sale things, moved some to the back room, and moved some to the shed. She also took trash down to the dumpster.
I cleaned up the sewing table and got things out of the bedroom and bathroom and then swept each room. After each room was swept, I sprayed for bugs along the edges of the ceiling and floor in each room.
At the end, we put the last few items in the car that needed to come to the new house and then took the last bag of trash down to the dumpster.
It is such a relief to know we don't have to go back and clean the trailer again! Yay!
On Thursday, we opened the shed to clean out the rest of it. There on the door was a wasp nest. The wasps didn't seem to mind us going in and out at all. However, I soon found that I was standing there cleaning items right in their flight path. Ooops! So, I moved aside a little. Besides the wasps there were June bugs, a dragonfly, and beautiful butterflies. A black butterfly with bright blue on its wings came to visit while I was cleaning items on the porch steps. I tried to get a picture, but it didn't cooperate with the camera. :-) I did get a picture of the wasps though.
My smoothie on Thursday was strawberry/banana and on Friday was papaya/mango/banana/kiwi. Doesn't the strawberry/banana one look yummy?
Friday's curious visitor while I was cleaning was this spider on the front porch. She was dangling from a string of silk and watching as I walked by.
Picture shows spider larger than life.
