One of the fun things this morning was working in the garden. We could not decide where to put a compost pile. But there is one spot in our raised bed garden that just won't grow anything. So we decided to put it there. One of the ladies from our church said she just throws out her fruit and vegetable garbage into her compost. So we have begun that. Will probably buy a bag of manure to add to it and also add our outdated herbs we've had around for a few years.
There was a rabbit in the back yard near our raised bed garden this morning. She was eating dandelions as fast as she could. It is amazing to see how fast those things disappear when she gets hold of them!
While weeding the garden the other day, I came across this pretty flower growing on one of the weeds. The weed itself was kind of ugly, but the flower was beautiful.
And pray for us that we will take advantage of these opportunities to talk with other people and that we will have boldness and wisdom when speaking to them.
Here is a verse for you - "We love him, because he first loved us." (I John 4;19)
