Some individuals who had Covid-19 said that they were helped a lot by a drink of boiled lemon and ginger. I found various methods of preparing it, and Christy and I have been drinking some for preventative. Will it prevent or cure Covid-19? I don't know, but it won't hurt anything, and it is healthy, so it is worth a try.
Here is how we make ours.
First pick out the citrus that you want to use. Yesterday I picked an orange, a lemon, and a lime. Make sure to use organic citrus because the drink includes the skin and seeds of the fruits.
The next step is to cut everything up nice and small.
The next step is to add the ginger and honey. Add about 1 teaspoon of ginger powder (or more if you like) and honey to taste.
Now, boil the fruit with the ginger and honey in it. Boil it for a long time until the skins become mushy. Picture doesn't show much water in the pan, but you can fill the pan up. This is a small saucepan (two quarts maybe). Look at the lovely colors.
After the fruit has boiled until the skins are mushy, turn off the heat and allow to cool for a while. It doesn't have to cool all the way. You just don't want to burn yourself. After it has cooled, it is time to strain the liquid from the fruit. The liquid is a somewhat brownish color.
The final step is to pour a cup and drink it down. It will be somewhat bitter, but it tastes OK.
