Thank you for those who prayed for Mary Gray as she struggled with cancer. Mary Gray is now with the Lord. The Victory Baptist Press email today had this update:
At 9 pm Eastern Standard Time on Sunday, March 27, (noon on Monday in Brisbane,) Mary Gray was promoted to glory. This was the first short e-mail from her husband, John Gray: "She is now up in Glory with our Lord! No more suffering, no more pain!"
Please pray for John and daughter, llava, and for Dr. and Mrs. Don Green, Mary's dad, as they travel over for the funeral. Details will be posted at www.johnandmarygray.com as we receive them. Please pray especially for Dad Green's health for the long trip. After he gets to Los Angeles, it is a 14 hour flight to Brisbane.
On a happier note, the Lord gave a blessing to my friend today. Today Allison went to her appointment to try out her trial braces. She had been praying that they would fit the first time. God answered that prayer, and they did! She has learned that she should receive her real braces within a week and a half. This has her very excited. Thank you for continuing to pray for her.
You can read more about it by going to her Caring Bridge page. She has new photos there as well. One of the photos shows the pretty prints she picked out for her braces.
Dad and Mom
Please continue to pray for Dad and Mom. They need much prayer every day. Here are a couple of verses the Lord gave me as I prayed for them today. Thank You, God for your nearness and your encouragement.
"Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way." (Proverbs 23:17-19)
