Even though the temperatures have still been below normal for this area, there are signs that spring is coming. The daffodils are finally poking up out of the ground. And I have seen an ant, a spider, and a stink bug. Saw some little gnats yesterday too. These are things that give me a little spring fever. :-)
Have been busy with trips to the chiropractor. Also had a dentist visit on Wednesday - just a cleaning. No cavities! Thank the Lord. I used to get lots of cavities but have not had nearly so many since cutting dairy down to once a week. Not as many colds or as much sinus problems either.
Christy has been busy with helping our friend with homeschooling her children. It seems like she is really enjoying that.
There have been a couple of dogs hanging around the trailer park lately - a yellow lab and a golden retriever. They are beautiful dogs and seem to really love playing with the kids though some of the younger kids are afraid of them. They love to run with the boys as they ride their bikes, and they wag their tails and their faces look like they are smiling with the fun of it all.
If you think of it, please pray for a friend of ours, Lazara. She is going through some really hard times right now. Please pray for her husband and her mother to be saved.
The Lord enabled us to get a new faucet for the kitchen sink. This is exciting as the other one has had a problem dripping for a long time. If it was in a certain position it would quit dripping, but now it doesn't quit anymore. Christy will probably try installing it this afternoon.
We look forward to some fellowship with our cousin and his family this evening. In just a couple of weeks they will be heading to Brazil where they will be missionaries. You can learn more about them here or read their blog here if you would like.
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend. Thank you to all that have visited our blog and written comments. Thanks for your prayers.
