A month's worth of news
Hello! This is Christy. On June 14-18 we have Vacation Bible School at our church. Connie and I helped with the crafts. We enjoyed it. There were several saved at VBS. A family that travels around and does VBS came and did it this year. The VBS was called Catastrophe Kitchen. They taught about eating and living forever. On the last night of VBS there were 107 kids. It was also parent's night, so there were a lot of people there.
That same week and part of the next, our mom and dad were in a town where they had email access. It was good to hear from them and be able to email them back. They also sent out their latest newsletter, so I have been busy getting that ready to mail out.
This week I have been off of work. On Monday, i did go in and take a catering to South Carolina. My sister rode with me, and we went shopping at a couple of stores on the way back. I got 2 new blouses and a pair of shoes at Hamricks.
The next day, we went to Gastonia for a fun shopping day. We went to the health food store and then to Hobby Lobby where we got several things that were 50% off. Then we went grocery shopping and got a few things.
On Thursday, we went visiting to see some of our former neighbors. My cousin and a friend of his were also there with us visiting. After that, we went and did the rest of the grocery shopping.
Today, we worked on the yard a little. I have been working on organizing my room a little. Tonight, we want to go help a church put Bibles together to send out.
Tomorrow, we plan to go to the Lattimore parade in the morning and to the fireworks in Kings Mountain in the evening. We will be cleaning house in between the two of those things. I want to work more on organizing, too.
