Snow and the flu
Saturday again. Christy writing now. This was a week of being sick with the flu that is going around. I got sick last Thursday. Monday I didn't go to work. I just stayed at home and rested all day. Then Monday night into Tuesday morning, we got a dusting of snow The farther east one went from here, the more snow was on the ground. The rest of the week was busy with cooking, shopping, a couple of caterings, and preparing for an event at the catering and meeting place where I work. Today we went out for personal shopping. We got to give out a tract at Ingles to the lady that was giving out samples of drinkable yogurt. I tried the strawberry flavor. it was good.
Ice and Organization
Connie here. The morning after we had snow, it was very cold. There was lots of ice on the inside of the screen door window as the condensation froze. With a magnifying glass, I was able to capture some of the pretty patterns that it made. Psalm 147:17 says, "Who can stand before his cold?" Isn't God's artwork very pretty?
Also, last week we were able to purchase a set of shelves from a local store that was going out of business. This week, I have been busy trying to organize our craft stuff onto these shelves. Found out we have boxes and boxes of markers. Will have to throw out ones that don't work when we come to them. What a blessing these shelves are. Maybe they will help in cleaning up some of the clutter.
Also have been working on organizing a three ring binder notebook for my new devotional journal. Got some pretty papers today to put in the sections. Thank the Lord for all His help.
