1. A new vehicle. Our present vehicle is wearing out. There are several things wrong with it, but it is not really worth fixing. It had 262,000 miles on it when we bought it, and we have put another 64,000 miles on it; so it has pretty much come to the end of its life. We have someone searching for us, and he is also willing to take our vehicle as a trade in as there are some good parts on it. Our main prayer request in regard to the vehicle is that we would be able to get it before we have to pay for tax, inspection, and tag renewal on the old one. That is coming up soon, and we don’t really want to pay for that on two vehicles when we most likely won’t be using the old one anymore.
2. A new house. We have also been praying about moving into a new place. The trailer has a lot of mold and some water damage. Below are some specific things we are praying about for the next place:
That it be a real house and not a mobile home
That it have 2 extra rooms – one for Christy’s office and the home library and a larger room for doing crafts. We would like to make crafts to sell, and there isn’t a lot of room to do that in the trailer. Also, it can be messy, so we would really like to have a separate room for it.
That it have lots of storage space
That it have a large kitchen with sufficient storage and lots of shelf space
Some bonuses with the new place would be as follows:
Two bathrooms – this would be a big bonus!
Kitchen cupboards that are easy to reach. I’m not a short person, but every house we have lived in has had cupboards that are so high I have to stand on my tiptoes to get things out of them. It would be so nice to have things where they are easy to reach.
Thank you so much for petitioning the Father with us for these requests.
