Last week when I was at the chiropractor, we were talking about my upcoming MRI. He said, “Hopefully they find something.” I said, “Gray matter?”
“Yeah," he answered, "a brain, just not any disease.” :-) Well, the technician who did the MRI today said, “We guarantee one brain for every customer, whether they use it or not.” :-)
The MRI went well. Thank you so much for praying. It was not nearly as bad as I expected. I think the worst part was the ear plugs. It lasted close to an hour, maybe a little less. Afterward we went to Michael’s and Hobby Lobby and then stopped at Aldi on the way home. When we got home, we enjoyed a treat of coffee ice cream. Mmmmmmmm!
They gave me a CD of the scan, and I’ve been looking at the pictures and comparing them to some pictures online. This is one of my favorite pictures. Don’t you just love those eyeballs? (Please do not copy and/or repost these pictures without my permission.)
On one person’s blog, they mentioned that their neurologist said that “all the white parts are bad.” If so, my poor brain is in bad shape.
Here is another view.
I think some of the white is just because of the way the contrast showed up. I’m not a doctor, but my scan didn’t look the same as the MS scans I looked at online; so we will see what the radiologist thinks. Thanks for continuing to pray.
Christy noticed the white line around this picture and said, "You have a halo."
I replied, "Well, you always knew I was an angel." :-)
