I got this idea from a health video I watched. Instead of a plastic container, they used a non-stick muffin tin. They just cut up the veggies into small pieces easy to grab for snack and put them in the cups of the muffin tin. I find the plastic container to work just as well. The smaller plastic containers fit nicely inside the big one, and the lid still fits on the top of the big one, providing extra protection for the veggies in the refrigerator. Now, when we want some fresh veggies for snack, we can just pull out the container and start munching. This would be easy to take traveling as well.
The dip in the smaller container on the left was easy to make. Just add two teaspoons of onion soup mix, a little parsley, a teaspoon of honey, and a teaspoon of lemon juice to about 3/4 cup of sour cream. Mix it all up, and there you go! Yum! Yum!
