The other day the Bradford pears were so beautiful in their snowy white blooms. When the dark clouds came up behind them, they only accentuated the beauty of the flowers. I've uploaded a few photos below.
Such a good time the Lord gave us Sunday. The music and preaching at church were uplifting and encouraging for the Christian walk. We enjoyed fellowship at a friend’s house in the afternoon. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. K for the hospitality and for that nice, hot cup of coffee on a damp, rainy day.
For some reason, the rain in the afternoon seemed cheery to me. Maybe it was because of that nice, warm coffee. Or maybe it was because I knew it was bringing a warm front and sunny weather was coming behind it. I had a difficult time resisting the urge to splash in the puddles. But seeing that the evening meeting had not started yet, and I was wearing my good clothes, I decided not to. Yes, even 35 year old “kids” need their playtime! ☺
Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word: Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl. Psalm 148:7-10
