A Week Together
Hello all. This is Connie again. Just wanted to praise the Lord for the wonderful week He has given to Christy and myself.
Christy had the blessing of having the week off. On Monday she did have to take a catering to a place in South Carolina. It was fun to be able to go with her. While there we walked over a covered overpass, and it was fun to look down and see everything. It was so pretty even though it was in the middle of the city.On the way home we stopped at some outlet stores. I ate some Chinese food while Christy had a fresh made sub. The two stores we wanted to go to were no longer there, but we enjoyed going to an education store.
On Tuesday we went to Gastonia, and on the way back paid a visit to the chiropractor. Thank the Lord for a profitable visit.
Wednesday we had company, and we all had great fun doing crafts together - 3 adults and 6 children, though one child was sleeping as she is only a few months old.
It was great to see Mr. Stevens at church. He will be in town for about a month, and his wife should be joining him. Maybe they can come over for dinner.
Yesterday (Thursday), the Lord blessed us with the opportunity to go with our cousin and his friend to visit some friends from one of the places we used to live. They had a friend visiting, and that friend's daughter came later. Thank the Lord for the opportunity to share the gospel. How those people need the Lord! If you think of it, please pray for them.
Today the Lord allowed us the opportunity to work out in the garden in the early morning. Some much needed weeding got done. Thank You, God. It is starting to look a little better. The rest of the day was busy, but this afternoon there was a chance for relaxation. It was a lot of fun to work on painting a T-shirt for tomorrow.
Thank You, God for this beautiful week you gave us to enjoy together as sisters in the flesh and sisters in the Lord.
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. II Corinthians 9:15
Below is a photo of one of the flowers in the flower garden and a photo of the shirt I was working on painting today. God bless you all!
