The nights are getting warmer now, and the weather has not been so wet. The sunshine is warming the spring air and bringing joy to the bones. :-)
Ecclesiastes 11:7 says, "Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun."
On April 1st, I was delighted to be able to see the moon outside my bedroom window when I got up in the morning. At night we can hear the frogs and crickets again, and the birds (at least some of them) sing all day and all night. The windows can be opened at night to let in the fresh air. Oh, this time of year is so beautiful. Thank You, God!
God has sent another blessing. My (Connie's) computer has a new hard drive now, and the right software has been installed, and so forth. Thank the Lord! What a blessing. We do not have it connected to the internet; but, Lord willing, that will happen soon.
Today was shopping day. It got up to about 90 degrees. But we stopped at Chik-fil-A and got one of their medium, fresh-squeezed lemonades. They have really delicious lemonade. The cold, icy drink helped keep the body cool.
Some trees are in bloom, and many have a lot of pollen hanging from them. Today the air in town looked hazy, but it was a strange hue. I asked Christy what she thought it was. It was kind of a green haze. We finally realized there was a lot of pollen around, so much pollen that it gave the air a green haze. Everybody's car had green on it. The cars in the used car lot were covered with a thin, green film. The parking lots were green. I don't remember seeing it like that before, and we have lived here about 11 years now. Below is a picture of the green parking lot. Not sure if you can see it really well or not, but there it is.
I also had a chiropractor visit today. If you think of it, please pray for my chiropractor. His mother-in-law had a stroke and is not doing really well. This chiropractor is a blessing to visit. The last 2 times we saw him, he was rejoicing in the hope that we might soon be raptured and taken to glory. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Lots of other things happened this week, but I don't have time to tell about them all tonight. God has been good to us.
Have a wonderful rest of the week, everyone!
Until next time,
God bless
