Folding tracts
This is Christy writing now. Friday night, we went to a church to help collate Bibles to send out. Some of us also folded some tracts. It is always fun to go help and fellowship with the people there. Then on Saturday, we went shopping and cleaned house. Today, we went to church. I work in the nursery during the Sunday School hour. There were five babies in there today. One of them is only a couple of months old. His name is Daniel. Today there was a baby dedication for Daniel.
Exciting Week
Now it is Connie writing. This week was a good week, full of excitement.
On Wednesday there was a tremendous wind storm. The clouds in the north were black, and the wind made such a tremendous roar that I wondered if there were a possiblility it could generate a tornado to the north of us. Took several videos. During the first video, a rainbow began to form. A beautiful rainbow! Than You, God! Above is one picture of it.
A rainbow of promise God put in the sky
Just to remind me that He rules on high.
No matter what happens in joy or in woe,
He hasn't forgotten me, He's in control.
(Read Genesis chapter 9 for the story of the rainbow)
Thursday was also an exciting day. Had an appointiment with my cardiologist. In the past, I had been diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse. This was not seen last year on the echo, although there was some leaking of the mitral valve. The echo done on January 2 of this year did not show any leaking of the mitral valve and only a tiny bit of leaking of the tricuspid valve. Other than a number of extra beats (PVCs), the cardiologist said that the echo was essentially normal. I do not need to go back unless I have further problems. Praise the Lord!
"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies." (Psalm 103:1-4)
If you know Jesus as your Saviour, don't forget to praise Him this week!
