Today I tried a cup of mineral/electrolyte tea made from some of these spices. First I made a mixture of it with the following ratio.
Basil – 1 Tbsp.
Parsley – 1 Tbsp.
Thyme – 1 Tbsp.
Cinnamon – 1 Tbsp.
Ginger – 2 tsp.
Rosemary – 2 tsp. (powder, 1 Tbsp. not powdered)
Cumin – 1 tsp.
Black pepper – ½ tsp.
White pepper – ½ tsp.
These were all shaken together and mixed evenly. The strength of the tea I made was 1 tsp. of the mixture to a cup of hot water. Steep for 10 minutes and then strain and drink. The tea actually tastes pretty good. I didn’t use any sweetener, but others may like it better with a little honey.
