The Lord gave us a beautiful morning, and we were able to open the windows. We kept the A/C off and the windows open all the time we were out shopping. It was certainly a blessing. We were able to turn it off again this evening and have the windows open for the night. The fresh air smells so good.
With all the dry weather, it was a challenge to keep the garden alive. Recently the Lord sent the remnants of tropical storm Danielle through here along with 4.3 inches of rain. This allowed us time to get some much needed weeding done. Worked on that for 1/2 hour yesterday.
Christy did not get to help much though. Her spider bites are about healed up, but now she has been bitten by fire ants. The one on her right food got really bad. Her foot swelled - it was huge! There is still an ugly red blotch and a little swelling, but some epsom salts, antibiotic ointment, and hydrocortisone cream have helped quite a bit. Thank the Lord.
Good visit with the chiropractor today. Also, we went shopping and were able to get another errand done.
Besides the above picture, I was able to get several others yesterday evening. That swallowtail was quite cooperative - for a butterfly. :-)
Hope you all have a great rest of the week with something beautiful to enjoy in it each day.
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Psalm 31:19
