One thing we were very grateful for this week was to get our lawn mowed. It had needed it for about two weeks before it was done. The man who usually does it had a broken blade on his mower. He tried to borrow his dad’s mower, but that broke too. So, we asked our pastor, but his was messed up. One man from church who can mow it got his mower out to start, only to find that it had a broken belt. He contacted another man who can do it. However, that man's truck has a flat tire. We are wondering what is up with all the lawnmower problems. Eventually, the man with the flat tire got his tire fixed and was able to come out and mow. The grass was quite thick by then and was a little hard to mow because it was also wet.
There was a little funny incident that happened though. On Tuesday morning, three men arrived and got out of a truck. They unloaded two lawnmowers and a weed eater from the trailer they were pulling and got to work. We were not expecting anyone until 6:30 in the evening, so this was a little surprise. I went out to talk to them. Turns out they were at the wrong house. Ooops! Poor guys had to load all the equipment back up onto the trailer and then head out to find the right house.
